Everyone with good taste can agree that Kanye's first 2 albums are absolute classics,
with tracks like "Gold Digger" and "Through The Wire"
that can put anyone in a good mood. But did you know that a team of people took it up to themselves
to remix Kanye West's Vultures era songs
into the style of these albums? Let's have a listen at these today.
Back in April 16 of 2024 the user TommyWiseau announced on the Yedits Discord that he would be making a remixed version of the album
in the style of The College Dropout, Kanye's first ever album, the people where happy it got announced and TommyWiseau kept people updated
on how to development of the comp was going and also dropping a few sneak peeks and songs that didn't make the cut
(Paid Scrapped Song) (King Bob Scrapped Beat)(Talking Sneek Peek)
On May 26 of 2024 TommyWiseau dropped the trailer for the comp and only a few days later on June 1st the listening party
happend in the Yedits Discord and afterwards all the songs dropped for download on MEGA and to listen on [Untitled].
you can also listen to the full album on Youtube
On the August 3rd of 2024 TommyWiseau announced Vultures 2: Registration Edition with a album cover in the Yedits Discord however it's not the one above
(the image he used to announce the album is this one)
he gave us more info on the comp on the 30th of August in a parody Youtube video and dropped a single for the album on September 6th, a reworked version of Time Moving Slow
which also showed our first look at the 3D render of the dropout bear made by
TommyWiseau, with help from bloo0553. A few days later the trailer dropped for the album which uses a reworked version of Slide from the album
Then on the 15th of September the listening party happend and the album was released afterwards on MEGA and [Untitled] and the entire album can also be listened to on Youtube

I never really liked Vultures 1, but when i discovered that people made fan-edits and remixes i was instantly hooked, i looked into the spreadsheet where you
can find all these fan-albums and found a really promising title "Vultures 1: Dropout Edition" so waited a while for it to drop and when it did, i couldn't stop listening to it
until at least about a month, and i still really like to revisit this comp because vibe it has is really interesting and catchy.
Of course they can't perfectly capture the style of The College Dropout in this album, alot of the songs don't really sound like The College Dropout
and have instead a more modern style of production, still a excellent comp nonetheless.
Some of my favorite tracks on this comp are Vultures, Talking, So Called Friends, Timbo Freestyle and Hoodrat
So Called Friends is LOADDSSSS better than the leak in this comp. Vultures has a really good vibe and Hoodrat doesn't annoy me.
A little bit after Vultures 2 dropped TommyWiseau decided to announce "Vultures 2: Registration Editon" due to to the very poor reception and mixing of the album.
and i was really hyped for it to drop, so when it did i instantly downloaded it on my phone to have a listen and TommyWiseau really outdid himself, it sounds quite a bit better than
Vultures 1 Dropout Editon, due to the beats being alot better on this comp and having more of that "Old Kanye" style.
Some of my favorite tracks are: Forever Rolling, Slide, 530 and Lifestyle.
530 has alot of chipmunk soul in the background which i really like and Forever Rolling has a phenomenal beat.
